Opening in 2013, this personal story is set in Highland Park, the very heart of gangland Los Angeles. It explores the isolation felt by Saul Sanchez after returning home from a ten-year prison sentence. Longing to reunite with his estranged daughter, Saul discovers; not only has life moved on without him, but the daughter he’s been yearning to see, doesn’t even know he’s her father. I play Victor Noreiga, a man who successfully rehabilitated himself during his own prison stint, and tries in vein to mentor Saul and keep him from returning to the criminal life that put him away.
